The new model for Superintendent Evaluation in Massachusetts can seem cumbersome and overwhelming. Done well, it can be an effective tool in moving your district forward. In this workshop, we’ll dissect the various components of the evaluation model. We’ll discuss how to plan and implement the evaluation cycle in a way that meets your district’s needs and keeps the process simple and manageable.
Along with your questions, you are encouraged to bring your own examples of superintendent goals that have either worked well or have not for the group to discuss.
No doubt you've heard that being "active on social media" is something every public official and school district should be. But with anonymous commenters, the Open Meeting Law, and the challenges of technology, how is a school committee member and a school district to best handle communicating via social media? Bring your device and your questions and find out!
This event has been rescheduled for a later date.
Check back later for updated event details!

A status update for MCAS 2.0 from the Massachusetts Department of Education. This is a must “see/hear†and, given the demand that DESE has had for this information, we are pleased that Division VII has been given an actual person to appear and answer our questions!
There will be lots of time for Q&A for both presentations.
