Workshop: Superintendent Evaluation

The new model for Superintendent Evaluation in Massachusetts can seem cumbersome and overwhelming. Done well, it can be an effective tool in moving your district forward. In this workshop, we’ll dissect the various components of the evaluation model. We’ll discuss how to plan and implement the evaluation cycle in a way that meets your district’s needs and keeps the process simple and manageable.

Along with your questions, you are encouraged to bring your own examples of superintendent goals that have either worked well or have not for the group to discuss.

This program runs concurrently with the new member orientation Charting the Course program that will also be presented at the same location that day.

At the end of the Superintendent Evaluation workshop, attendees who wish to join their colleagues at the Charting the Course program for lunch (included in registration cost) and/or for the afternoon portion of the Charting the Course program on school budget and finance may do so.
