Jennifer A. Nassour Esq. is COO of ReflectUS, a coalition of the leading non-partisan women’s political organizations in the country and Of Counsel at Rubin and Rudman, LLP. She is also the founder of Conservative Women for a Better Future, a non-profit organization dedicated to electing more women in Massachusetts and the Northeast.
Ms. Nassour currently serves on the board at the non-partisan think tank, MassINC and as a vice president of The Union Club of Boston’s Board of Governors. She is also on the Advisory Boards of the MassGeneral Hospital for Children and the University of Massachusetts Women into Leadership program. Ms. Nassour is the Massachusetts Chair for Maggie’s List. In 2014 and 2015, Ms. Nassour served as co-chair of the Story Book Ball, a charity event benefiting MassGeneral Hospital for Children.
An attorney and mother of three, Ms. Nassour is the former chairman of the Massachusetts Republican Party. During her tenure, Republicans won the U.S. Senate seat held by Scott Brown and doubled their ranks in the Massachusetts House of Representatives, the first gains in two decades. In addition, Ms. Nassour retired the state party’s debt, increased internal and external communications, and re-energized the activist base.
Upon graduating from law school, Ms. Nassour worked in the Worcester District Attorney’s office and later at the Boston office of Sheehan, Phinney, Bass & Green. Ms. Nassour spent 14 years at Consigli and Brucato, P.C., in Milford, MA, before joining Rubin and Rudman. She has also served as finance director for the 2002 Republican nominee for state treasurer and as a staff member in the Office of the Governor of Massachusetts. In addition, she served as a legislative aide in the New York State Senate and as an aide, law clerk, and chief of staff in the Nassau County, N.Y., Legislature.
Ms. Nassour earned her juris doctor from St. John’s University School of Law in 2000. She also holds a master’s degree in political science from C.W. Post University and a bachelor’s degree in political science from the State University of New York at Stony Brook.

MA Commissioner of Elementary and Secondary Education
Jeffrey C. Riley was appointed Massachusetts’ 24th commissioner of elementary and secondary education in early 2018 and began serving as commissioner on April 5, 2018. A Massachusetts native, Mr. Riley’s experience spans urban and suburban districts and includes teaching in Baltimore, Md., being principal of Tyngsboro Middle School, and being principal of Boston’s Edwards Middle School. In January 2012, Commissioner Riley was appointed superintendent/receiver of the Lawrence Public Schools. During his more than six years there, he led a team that brought major improvements by shifting more resources and autonomy to the school level, expanding the school day, increasing enrichment opportunities, and ensuring all schools had great leaders and teachers.
Commissioner Riley lives in Boston and holds a bachelor’s degree in philosophy from Pomona College in California, a master’s degree in counseling from Johns Hopkins University in Maryland and a master’s degree in school administration, planning and social policy from Harvard University.

Humorist and Candidate for Lieutenant Governor
Jimmy Tingle is a humorist, commentator, activist, entrepreneur and, most recently, a candidate for Lt. Governor of Massachusetts. He is a graduate of Mass-Dartmouth and a 2010 graduate of Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government.
Tingle has worked as a humorist and commentator for 60 Minutes II and MSNBC and has appeared on The Tonight Show, CNN, Conan O’Brien, Fresh Air with Terry Gross and in his own HBO half-hour comedy special.
His theatrical credits include writing, performing and producing several one-person shows including Uncommon Sense: Jimmy Tingle for Presidentâ€â€the Funniest Campaign in History and Jimmy TIngle’s American Dream. He has also appeared in several documentary film including Damned in the USA; America with the Top Down; and When Stand Up Stood Out. Feature film credits include Next Stop Wonderland; Head of State starring Chris Rock and Clear History starring Larry David.
Tingle has the rare distinction of winning Boston Magazine’s “Best of Boston†in the stand-up comedy category and for “best alternative theater†as the producer and artistic director of Jimmy TIngle’s Off Broadway theater in Somerville.
He is the founder of a new social enterprise and solo show entitled “Humor for Humanity†which aspires to raise spirits, funds and awareness for nonprofits, charities and social causes.

Wednesday Keynote Dinner
Jim Braude is the host of the TV show Greater Boston on WGBH and co-host of Boston Public Radio at WGBH 89.7FM with Margery Eagan. Jim also writes a monthly column for the Boston Globe Magazine.
During law school, Jim ran a small retail business in Provincetown (HUBE - Help Us Break Even!). He started his professional career as a legal services lawyer in the South Bronx handling housing and prisoners' rights cases. He was the founder and first president of the National Organization of Legal Services Workers, a union representing staff in civil legal offices for the poor in 35 states. NOLSW helped lead the fight to preserve the national program when President Reagan proposed its abolition.
He then served as the executive director of TEAM, the Tax Equity Alliance for Massachusetts, a tax reform coalition, during which time he led many ballot campaigns, including the defeat of what would have been the largest budget cut on the ballot in U.S. history. He published Otherwise, a magazine on American politics, and then served as a Cambridge City Councilor. Jim graduated from the University of Pennsylvania and New York University's Law School.
