Legislative Breakfast (March 3, 2017)

On Friday, March 3rd, 2017, Division IV of the Massachusetts Association of School Committees (MASC) together with the CAPS Collaborative will be holding a Legislative Breakfast at the CAPS Collaborative in Westminster. The program will provide school committee members, collaborative board members and their guests the opportunity to hear directly from their legislators on matters that directly impact public school education in the Commonwealth. The budget remains a key focus of our attention as well as legislative matters being heard which influence our families and their children, especially those areas impacting special education.

We would like to hear about your work that continues to impact public education and your perspective on the FY18 Budget process. Cindy Landanno and Ellen Holmes will make some introductory remarks, followed by comments from legislators. We will then open the floor to members’ comments and questions. The productive collaboration between our groups allows our Commonwealth to proudly recognize the tremendous accomplishments of our children. While this is certainly something to celebrate, all of us remain committed to ensuring that every child will thrive and discover their potential now and in the future.

Registration will begin at 8:30am in the Professional Development Center with our program commencing at 9am.
