Provide Feedback on the Emerging High Quality College and Career Pathways Designations

The Massachusetts Executive Office of Education, Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, and Department of Higher Education are developing designation criteria for Early College Programs as well as the newly introduced Innovation Career Pathway. Both initiatives fall under the broad category of High Quality College and Career Pathways. They are requesting input from stakeholders and field partners in the critical work of preparing all students for college and career to help inform their efforts.

There will be two focus group sessions about this work: one on June 8, 2017 at Holyoke Community College in the Kittredge Center, and another on June 9, 2017 at MassBay Community College in the Atrium Library. Both meetings will be held from 10:00 am until 12:00 noon. Please RSVP for the sessions here.

They are also providing an opportunity for interested parties to offer written input. To provide feedback specific to the Early College Program please review the Draft Criteria and submit any feedback by June 12, 2017. They will post a similar electronic survey relating to Innovation Career Pathways next week, after the focus group sessions, for feedback relating to that type of program.
