MASC leadership challenges administration’s commitment to traditional public schools

At the February 9, 2016 meeting of the Massachusetts Governor’s Local Government Advisory Commission, MASC Immediate Past President Patrick Francomano (King Phillip Reg. School Committee) and Vice President Beverly Hugo (Framingham School Committee) made a point of the Governor's focusing his education efforts more on building up charter schools than in providing additional supports for increasingly underfunded traditional schools.
